Nomos Amata is a Norway+Japan collab and they play that kind of melancholy indiemo with scratchy, jangly guitars that people mostly stopped playing after rockets and blue lights vanished. it’s my favourite way to do this style.
Beeswax are Indonesian and mix things up. the first song gently twinkle away in American Football fashion and mixes it in with some kinda chill indie. other times they kick it up a gear and rock out like turn of the century Deep Elm emo rock. the harmonies and vocals in general are just killer. this is totally lovely, makes me wish my car had a tape player.
appreciate this is a lil pricey but you get 11 songs in total so there is plenty here.
